Pro-Life Group and President Trump Discuss Federal Abortion Restrictions

After having a conflict with the charitable organization Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, former President Donald Trump recently met with an official from the organization.

In a news release issued on Monday, Marjorie Dannenfelser, chairwoman of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, stated that she, along with Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) and other individuals, had a “terrific meeting” with Donald Trump.

According to Dannenfelser, throughout the conversation, President Trump restated his objections to the radical Democratic position, which calls for taxpayer funding of abortions on demand until birth and occasionally even after the child is delivered.

She remarked that President Trump is aware of the strong public opposition to cruel late-term abortions performed on children who can feel pain and suck their thumbs.

Although Graham sponsored a bill that would make abortion lawful nationally within the first 15 weeks of pregnancy, the statement does not clarify which federal limits on abortion were discussed.

President Trump stressed to them, according to Dannenfelser, that any federal legislation safeguarding these children would need to provide provisions for the mother’s life and in circumstances of rape and incest.

She continued by stating that President Trump believes such a position is not deserving of a great nation and maintains the American people will rebel against such a radical position that aligns us with China and North Korea. She also stated that safeguarding unborn children capable of feeling pain would connect America with the civilized world and with 47 out of 50 European nations.

A few weeks before the meeting, Dannenfelser called the Trump campaign’s claim that abortion regulations should be left up to the states alone a “morally indefensible position.”

The Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America organization contributed significantly to Trump’s campaigns in 2016 and 2020. Dannenfelser represented the Trump Pro-life Coalition as its national chairwoman throughout the 2016 election.

Nikki Haley, a fellow Republican who supports life, has also declared her candidacy for president in 2024, giving pro-life organizations and voters another option.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican running for president, declared his unwavering support for human life when speaking to the media at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition.

Trump also brought up the problem of expensive college tuition. Academics have been fixated on indoctrinating America’s youth despite the skyrocketing cost of college tuition. Regaining control of our once-impressive educational institutions from the radical left is necessary. And we will, he declared.

He accused the accreditors, who ensure that educational institutions do not defraud students, of completely failing to do their jobs.

Trump’s standards include upholding Western civilization and American tradition, eliminating bureaucrats promoting Marxist diversity, equity, and inclusion, and safeguarding free expression.

Trump also plans to eliminate unnecessary administrative jobs in the field of education that raise expenditures.

To demonstrate that students genuinely learn and receive their money’s value, the former president suggested instituting college entrance and exit tests and providing fast and affordable degrees.
