Police: Woman Run Over and Killed During Robbery at Arlington Shopping Center

Arlington, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any information after a 56-year-old woman was run over and killed during an attempted robbery on Friday morning. The victim, whose family owns the Pho Son Nam Vietnamese Restaurant, had stopped at a bank before coming to work. Police believe the suspect followed her to the restaurant, initiating a physical struggle in the parking lot.

The woman fell to the ground during the struggle and was hit by the suspect’s car as he attempted to flee. She tragically passed away shortly after the incident. The victim’s identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office after notifying her next of kin.

The Arlington Police Department is appealing to any witnesses from the scene to step forward with more information, as they review surveillance footage from the area. There have been no arrests made in the case, and the suspect’s description and vehicle are not clear.
