LOS ANGELES – “Beverly Hills, 90210” actor Ian Ziering was involved in a violent attack on New Year’s Eve, he confirmed on social media. Ziering and his 12-year-old daughter were “aggressively” attacked by a group of bikers, according to his Instagram post.
The actor, aged 59, described the alarming incident as a confrontation that escalated into a physical altercation as he tried to assess any damage to his car after being approached aggressively by one of the riders. He stated that he navigated the situation to protect himself and his daughter, and although they were left unscathed, he expressed concern about the growing boldness of such groups disrupting public safety and peace.
Ziering called on law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide necessary resources to prevent future occurrences. He emphasized the importance of personal and community safety and expressed gratitude to his loved ones and fans for their support during the challenging moment.
The actor was involved in a street brawl with a group of bikers in Los Angeles, as shown in a video where his vehicle was surrounded by multiple riders on mini-motorized bikes before he got out of his car. He was seen swinging at one of the bikers, and as other bikers surrounded him, they started throwing punches at him. Ziering was later seen running across a busy street and away from the scene of the incident with the helmeted and masked people still following and attempting to get hits in on him.
No bystanders attempted to help Ziering during the ordeal, and he was eventually able to get away on the Hollywood Walk of Fame before returning to his vehicle and driving off.
Fox News Digital reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department and representatives for Ziering but has not yet received a response.
