WILKINSON COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities are searching for Sammy Patrick, the man accused of robbing a Subway in Woodville, Mississippi, shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 1. Patrick is also wanted for capital murder in Scott County after allegedly killing an elderly woman on Saturday, December 30, by shooting her, sexually assaulting her, and setting her body on fire.
Surveillance pictures of Patrick show him leaving the Subway in a dark-colored two-door Ford Ranger. He was armed with two handguns during the robbery and made off with $153 in cash and a footlong meatball sub in what authorities described as a non-injury incident.
Patrick was last seen heading north on Highway 61 towards Natchez. The police are urging anyone with information about Patrick’s whereabouts to contact the Scott County Sheriff’s Office at 601-469-1511 and are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Patrick’s arrest.
