Arrested: Two Men in Harnett County Charged with First-Degree Murder and Robbery

RYE, NC – Harnett County authorities announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with a shooting that resulted in the deaths of two brothers back in June. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of 21-year-old Caleb Xavier Henderson and 20-year-old Rasool Mubarak Husain Jr on Dec. 29.

Both men have been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, first-degree forcible burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon. The shooting resulted in the death of 22-year-old Joshua Tyler Holland and severe injury to his 15-year-old brother Quinton Jones.

Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats revealed that the brothers’ grandparents were asleep at the time of the incident. Both suspects were denied bond and are scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 23.

The case remains under investigation and the authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
