Brothers to be Arraigned for Violent Costco Parking Lot Robbery

Two brothers accused of robbing a woman at a Costco store in the City of Industry are scheduled to appear in court this Wednesday for their arraignment. David Martin Morrison Jr., 38, and Andrew Morrison, 34, will be arraigned at the West Covina courthouse in connection with the robbery that took place in the parking lot of the Costco store. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against the two brothers on Tuesday. They each face one count of robbery, and Andrew Morrison also faces two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information. Another individual, Jake Raya, is charged with one count of unauthorized use of personal identifying information.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the robbery occurred on November 26th around 6:30 p.m. outside the Costco store on Castleton Street. The victim was reportedly dragged by the getaway vehicle and repeatedly punched in the face while attempting to retrieve her purse, resulting in life-threatening injuries.

The Morrison brothers were apprehended in Diamond Bar last Thursday, with authorities recovering personal belongings of the victim. David Morrison is being held on a $500,000 bail, while Andrew Morrison’s bail was set at $600,000. Investigators are also looking into the possibility of the brothers being involved in other recent robberies in the San Gabriel Valley area.
