Minnesota Man Receives Life Sentence for Horrific Mendo Coast Murder in Mendocino County

WESTPORT, Calif. – A Minnesota man known by the name Robert Wayne Sweet has been sentenced to 25 years to life for the murder of his half-brother Timothy Dalton Sweet on the coast of Mendocino, California. Mark David Schwinghammer, 41, was convicted of first-degree murder for the “willful, deliberate, and premeditated” killing that took place on September 12, 2021.
