Renewed Appeal: Sister of Murdered Glenn Quinn Calls for Justice as PSNI Increases Reward

Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland – The family of Glenn Quinn, who was tragically murdered four years ago, is pleading for justice as the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) launches a renewed appeal for information regarding his killing. Quinn was found dead in his home in Ashleigh Park on January 4th, 2020, after being attacked by a group of men.

According to Detective Inspector Gina Quinn, Glenn was the victim of a brutal and shocking attack inside his own home, where he should have felt safe. His sister, Lesley Murphy, described him as a decent, kind-hearted man and emphasized that he did not deserve to have his life taken so violently.

The renewed appeal for information, which coincides with the fourth anniversary of the discovery of Glenn’s body, comes with an increased reward of up to £40,000. While the family remains heartbroken and eager for closure, there are individuals in the town of Carrickfergus who may hold valuable information about the circumstances surrounding Glenn’s death.

Encouraging witnesses to come forward and do the right thing, Murphy implored the community to remember her brother and consider the impact their information could have. Similarly, Detective Inspector Quinn stressed the complete anonymity of any information passed to the charity Crimestoppers, who are offering a portion of the reward.

With the family continuing to endure heartache and a lack of closure, those with knowledge of the circumstances and those responsible are urged to come forward and help bring justice to Glenn Quinn and his grieving loved ones.
