Bible John: Disturbing Exhumation Raises Fear of More Victims

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND – Authorities in Scotland have reignited the search for the serial killer known as ‘Bible John’ by exhuming a body, raising concerns that the killer may have claimed more victims beyond the three young women he is believed to have murdered between 1968 and 1969. Despite years of investigation, the notorious killer remains at large.

Dubbed the “Scottish slayer,” Bible John has been compared to notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper, who terrorized Victorian London. The killer targeted young women who frequented Glasgow’s famous Barrowland Ballroom, leaving a trail of fear and unyielding speculation in the city.

The victims, including a 25-year-old nurse, a 31-year-old mother of three, and another woman found in her own back garden, all fell prey to Bible John’s reign of terror. The case of the elusive killer is marked by chilling religious associations, as the killer is said to have quoted verses from the Bible and condemned adultery while traveling with one of his victims.

Years of speculation and unconfirmed leads have left the case shrouded in mystery. One story even suggested that the killer may have been protected in some way by relatives on the police force, further complicating the search for justice.

Family members of the victims continue to seek closure, as allegations of a potential cover-up and new claims of additional attacks in England have sparked a fresh wave of interest in the case. Despite the passage of decades, the unresolved murders of Helen Puttock, Jemima McDonald, and Patricia Docker remain a haunting reminder of a killer who evaded capture, leaving behind a legacy of fear and unsolved mysteries.
