Ipswich, Queensland – A 70-year-old grandmother has tragically died after being stabbed in the chest in front of her granddaughter during a violent robbery at a busy shopping center in west Brisbane.

The incident took place at the Redbank Plains Shopping Village on Saturday evening, resulting in a horrific and devastating outcome. The victim, who was grocery shopping at the time, was near her car when the random and abhorrent attack occurred.
