CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) – A suspect has been identified more than a year after a deadly explosion that resulted from a car crash in Cleveland. Christopher Terry, 39, is facing an arrest warrant for allegedly driving a 2019 Dodge Challenger at 123 miles per hour when he lost control on E. 139th Street, leading to a fatal explosion. The crash occurred on November 19, 2023, at about 8 p.m.
According to court documents, the vehicle struck multiple properties before coming to a stop, causing significant damage. The aftermath of the crash resulted in an explosion that caused a gas line to fail, leading to the tragic death of a 68-year-old woman inside an apartment building located at 3405 E. 139th Street.
