Pashin, a district in Baluchistan province, has been rocked by a wave of violence as a deadly attack targeted the election office of Asfandyar Khan, resulting in numerous casualties. The first attack, at the office of Asfandyar Khan, resulted in the death of at least 15 people, while the subsequent bombing targeted the election office of politician Fazlur Rehman’s Jamiat Ulema Islam party in Qilla Saifullah town, adding to the tally of the dead and injured.
These attacks, which have claimed the lives of at least 26 individuals and left over two dozen wounded, highlight the simmering tensions in the region.
