Trans Teenage Girl Stabbed in Shocking Attack – Witness Appeal Issued by Police

London, UK – A disturbing incident of a trans teenage girl being stabbed multiple times at a rollerskating party in Wealdstone, London, has led to a charge of attempted murder against a teenager. The victim, who remains unnamed, was allegedly attacked after being verbally abused with transphobic slurs. The attack left her with 14 stab wounds and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment before being discharged to recover at home with her family.

On February 13, Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in public and appeared in court. While she denies involvement in the stabbing, the investigation is ongoing and she has been remanded in custody until a plea hearing at the Old Bailey on March 12.

Detective Inspector Nicola Hannant, leading the investigation, has urged any witnesses to the attack to come forward and assist in the case. The local police department has made arrests in connection to the attack and has increased patrols in the area to address concerns of safety among the community.
