Transgender Teen Brutally Stabbed 14 Times at London Birthday Party, 19-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Murder

LONDON, UK – A transgender girl was the victim of a violent stabbing at a birthday party in the London borough of Harrow, a court heard. The teenager was attacked with a knife and rushed to hospital, where she was treated for multiple stab wounds. Another teenager has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the incident.

According to prosecutors, the victim had been subjected to transphobic slurs at a roller-skating party before being attacked by a group. The 18-year-old victim was found with stab injuries on Masons Avenue and has since been discharged from the hospital.

The accused, 19-year-old Summer Betts-Ramsey, appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court and is scheduled for a plea hearing on March 12 while remaining in custody. Police have made four arrests in connection with the incident and have increased patrols in the area.

Detective Inspector Nicola Hannant described the attack as shocking and violent and urged anyone with information to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to support the victim and her family as she recovers from her injuries.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of transgender individuals, prompting increased police presence and a call for the community to report any suspicious activity. The court appearance and ongoing investigation remind the public of the importance of addressing and preventing acts of violence and discrimination against transgender individuals.
