Surveillance Footage Captures Terrifying Assault in West Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in the assault of a Block-By-Block Security Ambassador in West Hollywood. The incident took place on Feb. 15 at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard, according to a bulletin by LASD.

Surveillance footage shows two individuals engaging in a verbal altercation with the security ambassador, ultimately leading to a physical confrontation that spilled onto the middle of the boulevard. The security ambassador, who was reportedly beaten with a flashlight and pepper-sprayed, managed to escape, but one of the two suspects remains at large.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station arrested one of the suspects on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, but the second suspect, described as an adult male in his 30s or 40s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing around 190 pounds, has not been identified.
