FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – After a tragic incident at a Fargo restaurant and bar, Fargo Police have now identified the victim as 22-year-old Ethan Larson from New Folden, Minnesota. Larson, a graduate of Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, tragically lost his life following an argument and stabbing on March 28th.
The altercation took place in the parking lot of SouthTown PourHouse and Duane’s House of Pizza on 45th Street South, in the early hours of Thursday morning. Authorities responded to a report of a stabbing and found Larson in critical condition. He was rushed to the hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.
Michael Diedrich, 28, was swiftly apprehended by Fargo Police in connection to Larson’s murder. According to preliminary findings, Diedrich and Larson had been involved in a dispute inside the establishment, resulting in both being asked to leave. It is alleged that the confrontation escalated outside, leading to Larson being fatally stabbed by Diedrich before he fled the scene.
