Coffee Shop Gunman with Extensive Criminal History Still At Large in Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee – Police are still searching for Anton Rucker, the suspect accused of a fatal shooting at a coffee shop during Easter Sunday brunch. The shooting resulted in the death of 33-year-old Allen Beachem. Rucker is now on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list, with a criminal history that includes convictions for aggravated assault, evading police, and drug-related offenses.

According to reports, Rucker has a lengthy history of criminal activity dating back to 1997, with his latest arrest in October on drug-related charges. The Metro Nashville Police Department described Rucker as armed and dangerous, offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his capture.

Authorities revealed that the shooting occurred around 3 p.m. at Roasted Salemtown, where Rucker opened fire, striking five individuals and killing Beachem. The incident escalated from an altercation between Rucker and another individual, leading to multiple shots fired.

Despite the tragic event, Roasted Salemtown expressed deep sorrow and sympathy for the victims and their families, pledging to cooperate with authorities in the investigation.
