Paris, France – French prosecutors have officially charged four individuals with murder in connection to the brutal beating of a teenage boy, resulting in his tragic death. The victim, identified as Shemseddine, lost his life after being attacked by three assailants wearing balaclavas as he was leaving his middle school in Viry-Chatillon, just 20 kilometers south of Paris. The suspects, including two brothers and two other young men, were brought into custody following an overnight hearing, where they were charged with Shemseddine’s murder.
According to Evry prosecutor Gregoire Dulin, the attack on Shemseddine was instigated by a dispute related to the brothers’ younger sister, specifically involving issues regarding sexuality. The brothers felt compelled to intervene to protect their family’s honor and reputation, instructing several boys to avoid contact with their sibling. However, tensions escalated when they discovered that the victim was allegedly making inappropriate claims about their sister.
This tragic incident comes on the heels of another violent assault on a 13-year-old girl in Montpellier, a southern city in France, who was left in a comatose state after being attacked outside her school.
