London, UK – Authorities in Bayswater, Westminster, have identified the victim of a recent murder as Kamonnan Thiamphanit, known to friends as Angela. Thiamphanit was found with stab wounds in her residence on Stanhope Place, with no arrests made in connection to the crime.
The incident came to light after a concerned friend contacted the police about Thiamphanit’s wellbeing. However, there has been criticism over the response time of the police, prompting the Metropolitan Police to refer themselves to the oversight body for taking hours to attend the scene.
A post-mortem examination revealed that Thiamphanit’s cause of death was sharp force trauma. The residence where the crime occurred is located near Hyde Park and is a historic Grade II-listed building from the 1820s.
