LANCASTER, Calif. – A Lancaster man has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the tragic shooting deaths of his four young children and their grandmother. Germarcus Lamar David, 32, was found guilty in March of five counts of first-degree murder for the senseless killings that occurred on November 28, 2021. The victims included his 11-year-old daughter Namiyah, his three sons Germarcus Jr., Kayden, and Noah, and his mother-in-law Ericka England.
During the sentencing, Superior Court Judge Denise McLaughlin-Bennett ordered that the life prison terms without parole run consecutively due to the severity of the crimes. Judge McLaughlin-Bennett stated that each victim deserved justice and that the killings were a deliberate and intentional act meant to hurt the children’s mother. The judge made note of the apparent lack of remorse shown by the defendant.
