Migrants Clash in Wild Street Brawl outside NYC Hotel, Swinging Sticks and Cones: Shocking Video Shows

Midtown, New York City – Rowdy migrants engaged in a violent brawl outside a Midtown hotel, brandishing sticks, belts, and even traffic cones in broad daylight. The shocking altercation was captured in new video footage.

The video shows at least a dozen asylum seekers involved in the brawl outside The Row hotel on Eighth Avenue. One migrant is seen menacingly swinging a bat at the group before being tackled and beaten by four others.

The altercation took place on a street with two men wearing bicycle helmets, as motorists drove by amid the chaos. In one instance, a migrant approached another from behind and struck him on the head, knocking off his helmet before fleeing across Eighth Avenue.

It remains unclear what sparked the brawl, as the NYPD has not responded to requests for comments regarding the incident.

The Row hotel is among many establishments converted to accommodate asylum seekers arriving in New York City from the US-Mexico border. Over 190,000 migrants have entered the city since the influx began in 2022, with more than 64,000 currently housed in shelters.

Violence has erupted in various migrant hotspots, including clashes between illegal vendors in Jackson Heights and fatal attacks at a tent city established on Randall’s Island. Mayor Eric Adams recently implemented curfews at several large migrant housing sites to address security concerns.
