Fatal Shooting at McDonald’s in Belcamp Leads to Arrest of Suspect

Belcamp, Maryland – A tragic incident occurred at a McDonald’s in Belcamp where 19-year-old Sebashton Nocar lost his life. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported that a fatal shooting took place at the fast-food restaurant that resulted in Nocar’s death.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday night, when deputies rushed to the 1300 block of Riverside Parkway in Belcamp following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Nocar inside the restaurant with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite their efforts to save him, Nocar succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The suspected shooter, 32-year-old Djbril Ramatoulay of Aberdeen, was identified by the Sheriff’s Office as the person responsible for Nocar’s tragic death. Ramatoulay, who was on probation for assault at the time of the shooting, had a history of violence.

Authorities revealed that the shooting stemmed from an altercation that escalated inside the McDonald’s. Both the victim and the shooter had previously worked at the restaurant, adding another layer of complexity to the tragic event.

Residents in the area were shocked by the violence that unfolded within the familiar confines of the fast-food establishment. One resident expressed disbelief, saying, “Oh my god. I would have never thought that. My wife and kids go there all the time.”

Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler shed light on the sequence of events that led to the fatal shooting, indicating that a confrontation outside the business ultimately led to the tragedy inside the restaurant.

Following the issuance of an arrest warrant, Ramatoulay was apprehended without incident and charged with crimes related to Nocar’s death. Investigators urged anyone with information or video footage of the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.

The community is left mourning the loss of Sebashton Nocar, a young life taken too soon in a senseless act of violence that has shaken Belcamp, Maryland.
