Stockport, England – A shocking Snapchat video has captured a brutal attack on a shop worker by a group of hooded individuals. The disturbing footage shows the employee being punched, kicked, and stamped on during a robbery at a petrol station on Wellington Road South in Stockport.
The victim can be seen cowering behind the counter as the assailants threaten him from the forecourt before barging into the store. They proceed to hurl a digital screen at the man, causing him to fall towards the cigarette cabinet. The attack intensifies as they take turns punching and kicking him while he lies defenseless on the ground with his arms raised in terror.
Following the incident, police were able to identify and apprehend the perpetrators – Kausar Amin, Bradley Maphosa, Tyler Garforth, and Riley Richardson. Amin, 22, of Tate Street in Oldham, was sentenced to two years in prison for his involvement in the robbery. His accomplices, Maphosa, Garforth, and Richardson, were also convicted and handed varying sentences for their roles in the violent assault.
Detective constable Lucy Williams expressed relief at the successful prosecution of the individuals responsible for the unprovoked attack. She commended the victim’s bravery and the public’s cooperation in providing crucial information that aided in bringing the culprits to justice. Williams emphasized the seriousness of the offenders’ actions, which were driven by a desire to steal and inflict harm without cause.
As part of their sentencing, Garforth was ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, while Richardson was mandated to undergo a six-month alcohol treatment program. Both individuals also received additional rehabilitation requirements and curfews as part of their sentences. The court’s decision reflects the severity of the crime and aims to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions.
