Vile Snapchat Video Captures Brutal Attack on Shop Worker by Group of Thugs in Stockport

Stockport, England – In a shocking act captured on Snapchat, a group of hooded thugs attacked an innocent shop worker at a petrol station on Wellington Road South. The disturbing video shows the victim being punched, kicked, and stamped on as he cowers behind the counter during an assault and robbery that took place in the early hours of July 29, 2021.

The footage, shared on social media, led authorities to identify and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the brutal attack. Kausar Amin, Bradley Maphosa, Tyler Garforth, and Riley Richardson were all arrested and later charged in connection to the incident.

The harrowing video shows the group threatening the shop worker from the forecourt before forcefully entering the premises. They proceed to violently assault the man, throwing objects at him and physically attacking him until he falls to the ground in terror. Paramedics had to attend to the victim after the attackers fled with £600 worth of stolen goods.

In the subsequent legal proceedings, Amin was sentenced to two years for robbery, while his three accomplices were also convicted and received varying sentences. Maphosa was sentenced to two years in a young offender institution, Garforth received a 13-month detention in a young offender institution (suspended for two years), and Richardson was handed a 13-month prison sentence (suspended for two years).

Detective constable Lucy Williams expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the case, applauding the victim’s courage and the public’s support in bringing the perpetrators to justice. Williams emphasized the severity of the unprovoked attack and the importance of holding the offenders accountable for their actions. Garforth and Richardson were also assigned community service and rehabilitation requirements as part of their sentences.
