Investigation Underway After Murder-Suicide Leaves Three Dead in Delaware Home

MAGNOLIA, DELAWARE – A tragic murder-suicide in Magnolia, Delaware has left three people dead, with police investigating the heartbreaking incident that took place on Monday evening. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at a residence on Cilento Drive, where they discovered a 38-year-old woman with fatal gunshot wounds on the property.

Efforts to save the woman’s life were unsuccessful, and inside the house, law enforcement found the body of a 43-year-old man who had also been shot to death. Additionally, the body of a 49-year-old man, believed to be the suspect in the killings, was found in the home, having died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police have revealed that the suspect contacted a family member to confess to shooting his wife and her boyfriend before expressing his intention to take his own life. Fortunately, the three children present during the incident were unharmed.
