Indianapolis, Indiana – The family of Robert Woods, a 28-year-old man fatally shot while riding his bike on the northeast side of the city, is on a quest for answers. Woods was discovered lying on the ground next to his bicycle by a passerby at 29th and Ralston Avenue around 10 p.m. on April 26. Tragically, he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries two days later at the hospital.
Described as a joyful and kind-hearted person who kept to himself, Woods’ untimely death has left his family in shock and disbelief. His sister, Travena Woods, recounted how her brother was able to communicate with a witness at the scene before his passing, requesting them to contact his siblings.
