Las Vegas, Nevada – Police are currently investigating a disturbing incident in downtown Las Vegas involving a 29-year-old man accused of a gruesome attack on another individual. According to court documents, the suspect allegedly proceeded to consume part of the victim’s face.
The suspect, Colin Ichiro Czech, has been taken into custody and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in connection with the morning slaying along Las Vegas Boulevard. The victim has been identified as Kenneth Brown in a criminal complaint obtained by law enforcement officials.
Following an autopsy by the Clark County Coroner’s Office, more information regarding the victim’s cause and manner of death will be disclosed. The complaint details how the suspect allegedly punched and struck Brown, leading to his fatal injuries.
In a chilling turn of events, it was reported that a witness at a nearby 7-11 dialed 911 after witnessing the suspect assaulting a customer, eventually escalating to the suspect attacking another man at a bus stop and consuming part of his face. Responding officers found the victim, Brown, unresponsive and with severe injuries to his head.
Court documents reveal that the suspect, Czech, was found kneeling next to the victim with biological matter on his person, claiming that the victim had attacked first. Despite the suspect’s claims, Brown was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, with injuries consistent with a violent assault.
Subsequent inquiries with the suspect revealed disturbing revelations – Czech allegedly confessed to using his teeth to inflict harm on the victim and even to consuming parts of the victim’s flesh. Czech attributed his actions to being under the influence of a malevolent force that had been controlling him and urging him to commit violent acts.
As the investigation unfolds, Czech remains in custody without bond, following his initial appearance in court. Authorities are urging anyone with pertinent information on the case to come forward to aid in the investigation.
