Fort Worth, Texas – Fort Worth police are currently investigating a disturbing and violent incident involving a list that targeted several students and teachers within the Northwest Independent School District with threats of violence. The Northwest ISD took immediate action after being made aware of the online list, which appeared to specifically target individuals in Wilson Middle School in Haslet. As a result, additional safety measures were put in place, with increased patrols by school security and Fort Worth police.
Although initial reports mentioned that arrests had been made in connection with the incident, Fort Worth PD clarified that no arrests have actually taken place. As the investigation continues, the district has identified two students involved in creating and disseminating the document. One student’s parent shared that their child had been wrongfully suspended initially but had the suspension revoked after further clarification.
