Memorial Motorcycle Ride Honors Henryetta Teens Slain by Convicted Rapist

Henryetta, Oklahoma – In a show of remembrance and solidarity, a memorial motorcycle ride was organized in honor of five teenagers tragically killed by a convicted rapist last year. The community gathered at Nichols Park to pay tribute to Brittany Brewer, Ivy Webster, Tiffany Guess, Rylee Allen, and Michael Mayo, who lost their lives at the hands of Jesse McFadden, who also took the life of his wife Holly before ending his own.

Mourning the loss of their loved ones, families of the victims expressed their deep sorrow and unwavering desire for justice. Janette Mayo, grandmother to Tiffany, Rylee, and Michael, as well as Holly’s mother, spoke of the profound pain that still lingers. Their lives were stolen away, their futures cut short by a senseless act of violence. The families’ hope is that no other family will ever have to endure such a tragedy.

Nathan Brewer, father of Brittany, emphasized the need for awareness and prevention in the wake of such devastating events. Partnering with Oklahoma Predator Prevention (OPP), Brewer and others organized the memorial ride to raise awareness about the importance of holding offenders accountable and protecting future generations. McFadden’s premature release from prison due to a sentencing error underscored the urgency of the matter.

Despite facing setbacks in enacting stricter laws, like the failed bill in the Oklahoma Senate, families like the Brewers remain steadfast in their pursuit of justice and change. Nathan Brewer’s advocacy for a law that would prevent early release for offenders convicted of heinous crimes reflects the community’s determination to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

As the memorial ride becomes an annual event in Henryetta, the community vows to keep the memories of Brittany, Ivy, Tiffany, Rylee, and Michael alive in their hearts. The poignant stories of the lives lost serve as a reminder of the need for continued vigilance and support for victims of such senseless acts of violence. Through awareness and unity, the community seeks to honor the legacy of these young individuals and prevent such tragedies from ever happening again.
