Explosion in Minnesota Claims Two Lives and a Dog in Tragic Mobile Home Incident

Princeton, Minnesota – A tragic explosion took the lives of two individuals and a dog in a mobile home on Tuesday. The incident occurred in Princeton, a community located about 50 miles north of Minneapolis, causing devastation and shock in the area.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple calls indicating a possible explosion, with the sound heard from miles away. Upon arrival, deputies encountered a large debris field still engulfed in flames, indicating the severity of the explosion.

Authorities, along with multiple fire departments, worked swiftly to extinguish the fire and conduct a thorough search of the debris. Tragically, two victims were found amidst the wreckage. The deceased were identified as Katherine A. Kreger, 61, and Royce E. Kreger Jr., 60, who lived in the residence. Additionally, a family dog was found dead in the aftermath of the explosion.

The property owner, Stuart Bryan, shared that the residence had been rented to a friend and his wife, emphasizing that there had been no prior issues until the sudden and catastrophic event occurred. Chief Deputy Aaron Evenson described the explosion as a scene of mass destruction, noting the immense power behind the blast.
