San Antonio Shooting Caught on Video: 4-Year-Old Dead, Suspects on the Loose

San Antonio, Texas – Authorities in Bexar County have released disturbing video footage of a shooting incident in San Antonio that resulted in the tragic death of a 4-year-old child and left two other children injured. The incident occurred at a townhome in the 6700 block of Windsor Hollow. Deputies responded to the scene following reports of gunfire at around 7:40 p.m.

During a press conference, Sheriff Javier Salazar revealed that five people, including three children under the age of 10, were shot in the attack. Tragically, a 4-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital. The surviving victims, aged 7 and 8, along with the children’s parents, aged 25 and 27, were also injured in the shooting.

Video footage provided by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office captured two individuals opening fire on the residence after exiting a silver vehicle. The first shooter, described as a white or Hispanic male, wore a gray hoodie and red shoes, while the second shooter was dressed in all black. Both individuals were wearing ski masks, and authorities believe they may be men in their teens to late 20s.

Sheriff Salazar noted that the shooters were armed with a weapon known as a “Draco,” a smaller variant of the AK-47. The firearm’s short barrel alters the trajectory of the rounds, causing them to hit flat and inflict devastating wounds upon impact.

Investigators recovered 32 rounds of 7.62 ammunition at the scene. Authorities released a photo of a medium to dark gray Infiniti Q50, believed to be the same vehicle used by the suspects.

In terms of motive, Sheriff Salazar stated that the suspects appeared calculated and aimed to cause maximum harm to the occupants of the targeted home. He expressed determination to bring capital murder charges against both individuals when apprehended.
