Fatal Shooting at La Isla Nightclub Leads to Life Sentence for Marcus Hull

West Palm Beach, Florida – A man named Marcus Hull found himself on trial for the murder of 24-year-old Kassandra Morales after a violent encounter at a nightclub parking lot. Despite his claims of accidental shooting, jurors convicted Hull of premeditated murder, as well as three counts of attempted murder and other related charges. His sentencing is scheduled for July 1st, coincidentally close to what would have been Morales’ 31st birthday.

The fatal shooting took place outside the La Isla Del Encanto nightclub, where Hull also injured two security guards and a bystander. The conflict escalated from a brief but explosive altercation between two groups, stemming from a longstanding disagreement over a woman. Hull’s actions resulted in tragic consequences, leading to Morales’ untimely death.

Following the shooting, Hull fled the scene but was later identified as the gunman thanks to surveillance video and witness statements. Detectives found the murder weapon at a relative’s home, where they also discovered the clothes Hull wore to the club and the firearm used in the crime. His arrest in Georgia was facilitated by a reward offered for information on his whereabouts.

Morales, a beloved member of the community, was remembered for her work as a supervisor and her involvement in youth baseball. Her tragic death left behind two sons, sparking a fundraiser to support her family. The Caribe Group Enterprise, which operated the nightclub where the incident occurred, reached a confidential settlement with Morales’ family to address the wrongful death.

Despite Hull’s attempt to justify his actions as self-defense, the court’s decision holds him accountable for the deadly consequences of his choices. Morales’ family and the community continue to mourn her loss, honoring her memory and seeking justice for the senseless tragedy that took her life.
