SPOKANE, Wash. — In a harrowing incident near the Spokane International Airport, a man fell victim to a violent assault resulting in the theft of his vehicle. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) reported that the attack occurred in the vicinity of West 50th Avenue and South Grove Road. With limited English proficiency, the victim sought help from a deputy after discovering his car missing.
The victim recounted stopping at a gas station near South Hayford Road and US 2, where he encountered an individual who requested a ride. Agreeing to the request, the victim drove the suspect to the 6000 block of West 50th Avenue. Upon arriving at the location, the suspect demanded the victim to exit the vehicle.
