Woman Fatally Shot Confronting Car Burglars at Baton Rouge Apartment Complex

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – A tragic incident unfolded at an apartment complex on Spanish Town Road when a woman lost her life during a confrontation with car burglars, according to local police. The victim, identified as 29-year-old Roneisha Truvillion, was fatally shot at the Elysian Apartments on Spanish Town Road at North 13th Street around 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots during the altercation between Truvillion and her family members with the burglars. Despite efforts to confront the individuals targeting her vehicle, the situation turned deadly when Truvillion was struck by a bullet. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.
