Queens Police Investigate Murder-Suicide in Richmond Hill

Richmond Hill, Queens – Police in Queens are currently investigating two separate shooting scenes about a mile apart, which they believe to be linked to a murder-suicide. The victims involved in both incidents are said to be related, according to authorities.

The tragic events unfolded at a residence on 111th Street near 95th Avenue in Richmond Hill on Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement found a 27-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene. A 52-year-old woman was also discovered with a gunshot wound to her torso and was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

Less than a mile away, at 109th Avenue and 96th Street, the body of a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head was found. Detectives located a firearm next to the deceased individual. The motive behind the violent acts remains unclear at this time, with the investigation ongoing.

The police have not released any information on the relationship between the individuals involved or any potential motives for the incident.
