Murder-Suicide Tragedy Shocks Powder Springs Community

Powder Springs, Georgia – Tragedy struck a quiet neighborhood in Powder Springs, Georgia, as the local police department identified the victims of a murder-suicide that took place at a residence on Forest Hill Road over the weekend. Family and friends of the couple were left in shock and disbelief, never expecting such a horrific event to occur.

Authorities revealed the identities of the individuals involved in the tragic incident – 36-year-old Kalisha Seddens as the victim, and 38-year-old Norotius Brown as the suspect. Marquis Seddens, the brother of Kalisha, expressed his devastation over the loss of his sister, describing her as an angel and lamenting the impact the incident had on their entire family.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Kalisha’s three children are now left without parents, with Marquis taking on the responsibility of caring for them. Norotius Brown, also known as DJ Gutta, was a familiar face at the Avenue Lounge in Hapeville, where he was known to be a dedicated family man. Colleagues and acquaintances of Brown expressed their disbelief at the tragedy, emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness and the need to check in with loved ones regularly.
