Arrest Made in Murder of Popular Sydney Surfer Guy Haymes

SYDNEY, Australia – Authorities have charged a man after an extensive three-month investigation into the tragic death of a beloved surfer in Sydney. Guy Haymes, affectionately known as “Creature” by his friends, was discovered by emergency responders in a Manly residence with severe head injuries following reports of a disturbance on February 27. Sadly, the 59-year-old succumbed to his injuries in the hospital a fortnight later.

Following the investigation, police apprehended a 41-year-old individual in Greenacre on Saturday evening.
