Beaumont Shooting: Needville Man Named Second Suspect in Fatal Robbery

BEAUMONT, Texas – A man from Needville has been named as the second suspect believed to have been involved in a shooting in Beaumont that resulted in one fatality.

The suspect, Larry Nathaniel Hagan, 26, is wanted for murder, with his bond set at $1 million, according to a spokesperson for the Beaumont police. The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday, when two armed men entered the Kris Food Mart, robbed the clerk at gunpoint, and shot and killed Sheikh Abir-Hossain, 34, before fleeing the scene, stealing cigarettes, and leaving on foot.

The first suspect, Keandre Robinson, 19, was arrested just three hours after the killing and is being held on an $800,000 bond for murder.

Beaumont police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They can call the police department directly, or submit tips to Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers through the P3 Tips smartphone application.
