Man Wounded in Carjacking at Houston Car Wash

HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a violent carjacking that took place at a self-service car wash in the southeast part of the city. The incident, which was captured on surveillance video, occurred in broad daylight on Broadway Street near the 610 Loop.

Authorities report that the victim was vacuuming his car when he was suddenly approached by the suspect. The assailant, armed with a gun, shot the victim multiple times before fleeing in the victim’s vehicle, which sustained damage during the encounter. The victim was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
