DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was discovered outside of a Quik Trip in DeKalb County after being shot during an attempted armed robbery, according to police.
The incident took place just before 6 p.m. on Saturday evening when officers were notified about a person who had been shot at the Quik Trip location on Flat Shoals Parkway.
Authorities stated that the victim was the target of an armed robbery in the Glen Hollow Drive area. Upon being shot in the abdomen while inside a vehicle, the female driver attempted to flee the scene but ended up striking two other vehicles in the process.
The assailants, three unknown individuals, fled the scene on foot, leaving the victim’s condition uncertain. However, the man was transported to the hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
