Kayla Cobb, 33, faces charges of misleading law enforcement as investigators claim she provided incorrect information during the probe of her 15-year-old son’s involvement in the violent event on May 14. According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department, Cobb’s attempt to cover up her son’s alleged role in the assault included fabricating details that were later contradicted by digital evidence from cellphones.
