NATIONAL CITY, CA – A brutal attack has left a community in mourning after a woman was found murdered in her home on Division Street. The randomness of the crime has residents on edge, questioning their safety.
Ernest Taylor discovered his wife, Wanda, in a horrific scene, wrapped in a blanket with blood nearby. The alleged attacker, Noel Trevino, was also present in the home when Ernest arrived.
The couple had lived in the neighborhood since 1996, and the attack has shattered their sense of security. “It’s like our home is no longer ours,” Ernest lamented, describing the disarray left behind.
Security cameras captured the chilling sequence of events. Wanda was attacked outside while trying to enter her home, with Trevino reportedly making stabbing motions before they both disappeared inside.
Earlier, Wanda had been seen leaving for an appointment with her dog. Trevino, posing as a solicitor, was noticed by a neighbor who felt uneasy about his suspicious behavior.
