Lacy, who is already a mother to two and expecting her third, recounted the terrifying incident, noting it occurred as she was preparing to head home after finishing her shift at a local group home early Thursday morning. She was ambushed by two hooded assailants, a man and a woman, as she approached her car to warm it up around 7 a.m.
The expectant mother told law enforcement that she recognized the female attacker, who she claimed had been stalking her due to a dispute related to a past relationship. During the assault, the attackers not only physically assaulted her but also verbally threatened harm to her unborn child, intensifying the ordeal.
