Man Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison for Manslaughter in Boyd Firingstoney Case

BATTLEFORD, Saskatchewan – Javon Moosomin, 24, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the death of Boyd Firingstoney. Originally charged with second-degree murder, Moosomin admitted to the lesser charge in a court appearance at the Court of King’s Bench in Battleford on Dec. 7, 2023.
