Officer Acquitted in 2020 Death of Manuel Ellis in Tacoma Hired by Neighboring Sheriff’s Office
SEATTLE, Washington – Following the clearing of criminal charges for the 2020 death of Manuel Ellis, a Black man, by Tacoma police officers, one of the officers has been hired by a neighboring sheriff’s office.
