Engine Problems Suspected in Lake Norman Small Plane Crash
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – A small plane crash near Lake Norman may have been caused by engine problems, investigators said. The single-engine plane crashed in a wooded area, killing the pilot and seriously injuring the passenger. The Federal Aviation Administration said the four-seat, single-engine aircraft went down under unknown circumstances. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
