WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Kingsly Ambrose, a Purdue University professor of agricultural and biological engineering, has compiled an annual summary of grain dust explosions that occurred nationwide in 2023. The report highlighted nine incidents, all concentrated in the Midwest region and mainly linked to the corn handling and processing industries.
