Comer: DOJ Must Wait To Indict Hunter Until After Committees Press Conference

James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said on Sunday that the Justice Department should wait to indict President Joe Biden’s son Hunter until after a press conference the committee plans to hold on Wednesday to unveil details it claims it has on the family’s business dealings.

It’s not just about the President’s son, according to the Kentucky Republican; they’ll get to examine the proof the House Oversight Committee produces about the web of LLCs and the number of antagonistic countries where the Biden family influences were peddled.

He elaborated that this affects not just Joe Biden but the entire First Family of the United States. He thinks the House Oversight Committee has done more investigation into this than the IRS or the DOJ; therefore, there are likely many tips neither agency knows.

According to a report, the President’s son may be indicted for gun or tax offenses.

However, on Sunday, Comer suggested that any charges brought against Hunter Biden might amount to little more than a warning.

According to the media coverage, he claimed that the charges being considered against Hunter Biden would amount to a little more than a slap on the wrist. On Wednesday, the American people will finally have the opportunity to learn the truth. The Justice Department can then do what it should have done long ago.

Comer said the evidence suggests the President was bribed as part of a larger pay-to-play conspiracy involving Biden’s family.

After allegations of a bribery plot involving the President surfaced last week, the Oversight Committee issued a subpoena to the FBI for records.

He claimed on Sunday that he and Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, received information and reviewed documents from a credible whistleblower that implicated Biden in aiming to set up a deal in which he and his family would receive monies in exchange for foreign policy decisions.

Comer added that this is consistent with data from bank records and will be discussed during a news conference on Wednesday.

Comer claimed they would reveal several of the LLCs and transactions the Biden family has received from adversaries worldwide. It is not a coincidence that so many people in the Biden family had money deposited into their accounts from various limited liability companies.

He also said that House Oversight Committee members think the payments made were in exchange for something that either then-Vice President Biden or his son, Hunter, would have done. As a result, the inquiry will benefit significantly from the information this whistleblower will reveal.

Comer said he and Grassley had given the FBI until May 10 to deliver the document revealing the scheme.
