House Oversight Uncovers the Biden’s Foreign Financial Dealings, Subpoenas to Follow

House Oversight Chair James Comer told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures that the Biden family will be served with two dozen subpoenas in the coming days related to the family’s overseas business dealings.

“I think you’re going to see swift action on Biden, and I would predict somewhere around two dozen subpoenas in the very near future,” Comer said.

James Comer, R-Ky., is leading the House inquiry into Hunter Biden’s foreign business entanglements and seeking to determine what part President Joe Biden may have played in any dealings. Republicans allege the President has financially profited from business deals made with foreign nations by his family members.

Comer stated last week that in 2017, President Biden received $40,000 in laundered Chinese money from the bank account of his brother and his sister-in-law in the form of a personal check.

Biden has continually denied any involvement with his son’s business dealings.

When Bartiromo asked if the Kentucky Republican plans on questioning Hunter and Joe Biden and getting subpoenas out, Comer said they have always planned on doing that.

“This has been a painful process, Maria. We’ve been obstructed. We’ve been followed at every turn, not just by the Bidens’ big-money attorneys but also by the federal government. The IRS has obstructed. The DOJ has obstructed. The Treasury has obstructed. FBI has obstructed, and the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have pretty much been the Biden legal defense team,” Comer stated.

As proof of his claim that President Biden and his family were involved in money laundering, Comer claimed several other House oversight members could piece together a sequence of financial transactions involving the Bidens.

“This was very organized. And the reason they did these complicated transactions was to disguise the source of the revenue and to deceive the IRS from paying taxes,” he said.

Comer asserted that in the coming weeks, the Biden family would claim the funds were loans because loans don’t have to be reported on tax returns.

“If you’re the IRS and you’re just looking at someone’s taxes, you would never know that President Joe Biden got two checks for loan repayments – $200,000 and $40,000,” Comer said.

“You wouldn’t know about all the money that we’re going to show that James Biden took in and Hunter Biden took in from loans. It’s an integral part of money laundering, where you deceive the IRS about the revenue you’re taking. In other words, you’re a tax cheat.”

The White House has yet to respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Comers interview regarding the Biden family subpoenas came just days after Hunter Biden’s ex-business associate, Tony Bobulinski, proposed both he and the Biden family appear together for public testimony before Congress after lawyers for Hunter alleged Bobulinski lied to the FBI about the nature of their business relationship.

Fox News obtained a copy of the 10-page letter Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, sent to United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves, claiming Bobulinski lied to the FBI during an interview on Oct. 23, 2020, about his business dealings with the President’s son.

Lowell called for Graves to investigate Bobulinski for false statements regarding his work. Bobulinski worked with Hunter Biden to create the joint venture SinoHawk Holdings with Chinese energy company CEFC.

Bobulinski’s attorney provided a statement to Fox News Digital on behalf of his client, denying Abbe Lowell’s allegations.

The House Oversight Committee, jointly leading the investigation with the House Judiciary and House Ways & Means Committees, reacted to Lowell’s request on X late Friday afternoon.

The Oversight Committee wrote, “Hunter Biden and his legal team are once again attacking anyone who speaks out against the Bidens. This time, their target is Tony Bobulinski, a potential witness in our investigation. We will not tolerate witness intimidation. The truth will come out soon enough despite the Biden team’s threatening tactics.
